Filming in the roofs of Paris, Palombo continues to re-define dance in fashion film and mesmerizes the eye with the unique and powerful nuance of movement that only dance can offer.

In the summer of 2010, Iker and Eneko Pou decided to visit legends. Travelling the Alps in their camper van, they met the godfathers that changed climbing forever. Walking on the footsteps of Manolo, Alex Huber and Beat Kammerlander, they repeated some of the most iconic routes in the history of big-wall climbing: itineraries that show the way to the new generations.
The idea behind this personal work was to create a fashion film featuring the unique style of these dancers led by Valentine Norton. Their hypnotic movement is abstract yet storytelling at the same time.
Tancrède, Julien, Seb and Antoine are pioneers in ‘highlining’ – a vertiginous combination of climbing, slackline and tightrope walking. We travelled from our home in Chamonix to our training ground in the Verdon gorge, testing the limits for our ultimate goal… We rigged highlines on the skyscrapers of Paris, and finally came to the spectacular cliffs and fjords of Norway. Months of training led the Skyliner team to attempt their dream of complete freedom… the freedom of flight !
